İ have a i5-12500H laptop with gtx 1650 16gb of ram using the low settings but never had a problem with the gameplay
Depends on how much you want to spend. You can very low config potato that can barely run the game for cheap or you can get an overkill system to run with everything on max in 4k for a price of a someone's kidneys. There is a huge range to choose from but you have to figure out how much money you are willing to spend first.
Do you have problems with textures : I have a similar config, and a lot of textures, especially in Hogsmead, load completely only when I get closer to them. Sometimes they don't load completely and stay blurry (like in joined picture).
try this #1079733198713536562 message and change the r.Streaming.PoolSize=3072 to r.Streaming.PoolSize=2046
ibdidnt have taht problem but i can recommend an easy fix for that go to visual settings and get the show slider to max since it will expend your charachter seeing area it will preload a lot of textures so you dont see unloaded or late to load textures but this can impact the fps
Thanks : In don't have such slider, could you please post a screenshot of the setting you're talking about ?
Thank you : things seem a bit better now (still some blurry textures, but they seem to load faster) that I've added the engine.ini tweak and also now that I've 32Gb RAM (which alone wasn't sufficient to solve the issue). Game is taking ~15Gb (1080p, High, FSR 2.0) so 16Gb was definitely not enough.
Yeah. It's kinda problem with almost all dx12 games. Memory leak and memory management is horrible.
I tried the engine.ini tweak when I had only 16Gb, but it didn't solve the issue.
Could be because of other things in the background. Setting up higher page file also helps sometimes. But since you got more ram so it should be an issue.
