Once every 2.5 days.
You can wait 5 times in a row and they’ll have restocked.
But there’s an even faster method if you’re looking for particular clothes.
Wait 5 times. Then do a manual save.
Then look at the shop inventory. If there’s nothing you’re looking for. Back out and reload you manual save.
When you look at the shop inventory after reloading the manual save there will be different stock from the first time.
If there’s nothing you want, repeat the reload step.
Once you find something you wanted but want to find something else then repeat the waiting step and continue the next steps

If you’re already a day or so ahead then it’ll restock in less.
Best way to test would be to wait one at a time and check until you get a restock and only then start counting the total waits

If you were 2 waits in then the time must have passed while exploring.
If you stayed out of Gladrags for a full day and night cycle that’s the equivalent of 2 waits
Time also passes when you wait for missions and stuff

Yeah because you were partway through the active stock time
5 is a guaranteed change in stock no matter how far or early you are into a stocks time
If you were only one day cycle into the time, then waiting only 3 times wouldn’t have a restock

im thinking its a bug where the game thinks 5 rests to reset - time already in started, repeated
but i kept waiting 3 rests and it kept restocking
thats how i got all 6 my slots filled
