save causing potential crash

So I’ve been playing and I got to a point where I go to load into a previous save and my game crashes. It only happens at my latest save going back to an earlier save. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is an issue with the save itself or the amount of saves I have since I do not want to have to play from my second to last save. Any help is appreciated
