I was exploring ||Korrow Ruins (west of North Hogwarts Region)|| and stumbled upon a room full of goblins. I defeated them but I don't know what to do now. It seems like a dead end

That's part of a side quest, I think. You'll get a treasure map leading to that place or you need an item from that place.

It's part of the Rowland Oakes quest iirc. Clearing it out early doesn't have any negative effects - you'll just have to clear it out again when it's quest time

update: no respawns, entire place empty.
Apparently you can only kill them once lol
