I recently found a niffler nest and I love nifflers so I decided to try and get a few and I noticed the first one I got is golden, is that something that happens often or is it similar to the shiny pokemon system where some can be shiny and are rarer?

shiny are more rare like in pokemon yes, sometimes people get a few in a habitat but not often, i've put about 180 hrs into the game and only spotted like 3-4 and i've collected like 100 or so

oh damn, ive collected maybe 20 creatures and I noticed one of my birds is also golden
I guess im pretty lucky then

you'll know if it's shiny by having a "+" next to they gender

that's not shiny then, that's just it's color, different ones have different colors sometimes
