Where is the butterfly in this portrait, I wrnt to the place and is not there

I had been looking for the butterfly next to the history of magic, the imagen shows the sphinx and a Windows, went to that place and there is no butterfly

Hmm that sphinx is in the next room of history room and the butterfly should be in chilling in the small pillar near the door. If it’s not there then it’s bugged?

Many ppl have experienced a missing Lumos Moth, including myself. There is a bug ticket open, but like most game companies they are terrible at telling us if there is a fix coming.

Hi - I'm facing the exact same issue. I'm very close to 100% the game. I'm hopeful that there'll be a fix soon.

Not sure if this will work but can you try going to a special cave like the phoenix cave or moonstone cave/snidget cave/ battle arena etc. then go back to hogwarts and see if it forces the hogwarts map to reload the assets?
