Iv completed the game and waited days for the seeds I need to be available for purchase but nothing I assume its bugged but is there anything special I need to do???

if you completed the game, probably you have already bought all the seeds from the plant's shop.

maybe you already have the seeds, but it's trying to plant them in the wrong type of pot
actually, you will have the small pot, the medium pot and the large pot, you can get them in Tomes and Scrolls (shop)
if you access the small pot, and try to plant a seed that will only grown on a medium/large pot, the seed will be greyed out

remembered now, you can bought the seed plants in two shops in hogsmeade:
1 - the magic neep (where you will find the basic ones that you will use for potions);
2 - but if you are looking for the combat plants, like venomous tentacula, chinese chomping cabbage and mandrake, then you need to visit dogweed and deathcap (north of hogsmeade). There you will be able to buy those combat plants seeds
