hey i need your help I have a main quest that requires me to tame a Graphorn in order to open the Vault. I defeated it and got on its back. Then I accidentally teleported myself and now it's gone. I also ported myself back and used an old autosave but it's still gone. So now I'm stuck on the "Open the Vault with the Graphorn" point.

Have you tried abandoning the quest? Usually it will reset you to your most recent check point, which would allow him to respawn.

Do you still have a waypoint for the quest?

Or can you still locate quest on the map? If so, go to the way point marker, then die and it should give you an option to abandon quest. I bet there’s a better way if you look it up, but only way i’ve ever been able to abandon is from dying

Yes, i have i marked way, but when i die, there is no option for abandon, only can chose last checkpoint, load game or go back main menu

Where is your way point at right now for the quest? Is it at the Graphorn Den?

Graphorn quest "open the vault with graphorn". the place is marked and i am at beginning, there, where you tame this graphorn. i defeated him and got on its back, than i teleported...

Must be a bug if he isn’t at the den or in your mount option. Is he in your inventory where other beasts are kept?

i checked up all places, he can be, he is nowhere. That is my big problem. And when i chose an older autosave point, he is still done.

I’m sorry I don’t have any other suggestions. Those would be the only things I could think to do. It must be a bug. When you say you teleported, like you accidentally floo flamed?

Yeah then I am confused why it wouldn’t be found in your mount list, at least in the inventory spot where other beasts you capture are.

Try putting him in one vivarium, then go to an exit of hogwarts and try to spawn him in from mount then.

If you can’t, check “Gear” go to mounts and see if he is there

Unfortunately it is starting to look like that.

My last thing I’d suggest is try taking him out of a vivarium and see if it will let you spawn him. If not, I’d just put him back in the vivarium and leave him there and pray for a patch😂

Maybe if you go to the quest in the quests menu and click options over it and abandon from there? I just don’t know how it would work out since you successfully captured him but just can’t find him on mounts.

it didnt work 😄 Now i have a graphorn in my vivarium with quest name "Lord of..." xD But can not mount

I would try to look up a way to abandon the quest to be honest. That could be your best bet if you can’t find him in gear to mount but he’s in your vivarium.

That’s so terrible i’m sorry man😂 I would definitely try to abandon quest and just pray it gets patched

I’d also take pictures of everything:The fact he’s in your vivarium, the fact he’s missing from mounts, and a picture of your quest way point too/what it is currently telling you to. attach those to the report.

so i think the issue is that the game doesn't award it as a mount until after you open that door. until then its a scripted event mount that expects you to actually run and learn to use the mount on the way back to the door. at least based on the wording of the quest and how it bugged out on you. Since after you open the door, your character puts it in the bag.

its sort of like the gryphon quest where it has you ride it to the check point and you cant teleport, just in this instance teleport is enabled instead of disabled leading to the bug.
