This is my second run, the first I chose Natty. We're currently in the clothing store and the quest says to follow him to the three broomsticks. However he is not moving and just standing there. When I try to go to the three broomsticks myself it puts the timer up for leaving the quest area. Will I need to restart the quest?

You may be able to reload a mid-quest auto save, but I also believe letting the countdown run down and "failing" the missing will load into a recent checkpoint as well.

Abandoning him worked, thanks. 😂 when it reloaded we were standing outside the clothes shop and not inside. Maybe he was just browsing the first time. Fancied himself a new pair of robes for himself.
