Game won't launch on Steam

I have the problem since yesterday whereas I was able to play the game before (+35 hours of gameplay). Any solution yet? Thanks!

I'm not sure if this would work, but have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files for HL?

I tried everything. Verify the integrity of the game files, launch the game in windowed mode, launch from desktop as an admin... nothing works 😦

that's kind of weird because I could play before and from one day to the next the game was no longer running on Steam for NO REASON 😭 I can't figure out where the problem is coming from and why there seems to be only a few people who have the problem

Ya i clocked in 30 ish hours and then nothing just a black screen.
