Can't catch the Thestral! any ideas? Help?

I am doing Foal of the dead (on PC) and I can not catch the thestral. I get one right near me and I have the bag do it's thing and then the F shows, but no matter what they always get away. I have tried using Leviosa, accio, arresto momentum with this and I still can not catch one. Is there a trick to when you hit the F key after the bag finishes filling the meter? I have tried hitting F once and letting go and tried holding it down. I am more than frustrated with this. Been here over an hour!

try depulso and glasius, do it in that order

depulso will knock it over, and glasius will freeze it, then when it unfreezes, it will have to get up, then it will run away, so you have a little extra time

ok still the same type of problem - the bag finishes filling the circle and then the letter F comes up and I hit it but the things still ends up getting away. I captured other beasts, Including a thestral, so I do not know why here it is not working

hmmm, i don't know either, i am outta ideas, i don't know much about different ways to do stuff in HL, i stick with what i know

so when you are hitting the F - do you hold it, it seems wonky to me

well if it's anything like controller, i do controller on my pc, you tap the catch button. on controller i can hit it repeatedly and it won't do anything except register when the circle fills up

I just tried again and I get the F 3-4 times and still it will not capture this thing! I was trying to do it last might and gave up, I am having the same issue today, so I don't know what to do. Guess I don't get to do this!

I have tried levioso

to me it seems like the bag just does not want to work

idk i just approached him from behind with the cameleon spell and did like 3 full circles and when he tried to run away i used levioso and caught him

I get the thestral on the ground but can't get it in the bag

That worked for me in a different location but not here

OK definitely bugged! I finally managed to catch one and it stills says I need to catch a thestral!

any idea how I report this bug?

Yeah I double checked it. It crossed out the other one so I don't know what was happening. I left again and then got back in and I have finally gotten it done! Thanks for your help.
