I accidently let go of one of the lanterns which caused the room to change directions and now i'm completely trapped in a room with the lantern i need to get out in another room which is now blocked off. Is there not a way to restart the quest or something? I refuse to go back to my last save 4hrs ago 😭😭

No, its gone behind a wall 😭. I used wingardium leviosa to put the lantern on the hand which rotated the room and opened up a passageway to get out. I stupidly picked it back up and let go of it outside of the room i was in which caused the doorway to close again and locked me in with no way out again
I was doing the libary section, the part where the room starts spinning upsidedown etc. So hard to explain 🤣

Do you have auto-save enabled?
It won't show up as a save file you can load into from the menu, only if you were to exit and continue
