you can play on high settings with your specs, try to clean your PC and update driver nvidia
My drivers are up to date, but how would I clean my pc, what would I even look to clean
My gpu is on 30% cpu 30% memory 80%
I'm using a 2080ti and getting above 100fps
And also able to stream while on medium settings
first you must to install CCleaner it’s applicator for cleaning PC
i have 3050 and i710700 and 32 ram, i have 90-100 fps on medium-high settings
Is the game on your SSD? Are there other drives in the system? What is the other drives usage like in tm with the game open?
No CCleaner bad
the game will be installed on SSD !!! sorry for my english
Yeah ssd, don’t know what the driver usage is rn :/
not driver, other drive usage. check in game for high secondary HDD usage, if this is happening I can walk you through a fix
in nvidia geforce experienced the setting will be on defolt “ no boost, no performance “ only default
try to play with settings and cleaning your pc
because your specs allows you to pull the game on high settings (normal-high)
Pretty pretty sure I saw it going to 30%
depends on the resolution, 1st respond to previous msg please but also what resolution are you trying to run the game at/monitor resolution, is the framerate capped at all? do you have dlss enabled in game? please list your full video/graphics settings from in game thanks
so no 100% disk usage in game on other drives?
@next sequoia keep an eye on this thread as well lol
Ok !! Ty
render resolutiuon 34% lowest possible, nivdia dlss, nvidia dlss ultra performance, graphic options all low, ray tracing off
try to nvidia dlss to quality
thanks, what is the actual resolution of your monitor though?
uhh im assuming 1920-1080 144 hz
assuming?
set the frame rate according to the end of your monitor
in menu how much fps ?
144
pretty unhelpful that you can't attach images here, could you dm me screenshots of video/graphics settings pages and also taskmanager usage in game
maybe need to turn off vertical synchronization?
@mint jungle well, what worked?
Tommy had game and windows installed on ssd but with secondary hdd that was getting quite high usage in game so we are switching windows paging file to be on just the ssd. hopefully this fixes the issue
fixed by setting windows paging file to ssd, anyone with the same issue can follow the guide here: https://www.reddit.com/r/HarryPotterGame/comments/110dml4/new_stuttering_fix_in_windows_settings_for_pcs/
