#PS5 Exclusive quest not showing up.

Wife is trying to start the exclusive PS5 quest in Hogsmeade but even though she has finished the supposed required quest "Fire and Vice" the person/house elf required to kickstart the quest isnt there. We have the PS5 digital deluxe so no idea why she cant start it? Its also Winter and she has finished the second trial.

Have checked a few "how to" guides and they all say either unlock Fire and Vice or complete it. Well she has done both.
Have checked on the map, its not there, and her quest list, not there either, and the House Elf or the lady you buy it from is not where they should be.
Any ideas?

Honestly, she may need to just roam around for a while and do other things before it’ll load in. That’s been the only flaw so far for me, having to wait around for certain quests to pop up or the triggers to appear lol! I walked by Penny (the elf) and that’s when I got the option for the quest.

She has been past the requirements now for quite a few hours with constantly going back to Hogsmeade to check. Others have said it didnt activate till after the third trial so she is making her way to do that now. Been a fairly bug free experience overall just shame it happens on this quest.

I bet after she does the third trial it’ll pop up. That’s when it did for me! I’m now experiencing a bug myself in the “Take the Biscuit” side quest. If she hasn’t done that quest, tell her to not open the massive crate with a lock on it in the bandit camp a little north east of the “east north ford bog” floo flame.

I got the quest after the third trial as well. ||I remember being creeped out by the third trial then landing in the shop quest and thinking “AGAIN?!”||

I have completed the third trial and I still don’t have it 😕 rather frustrating!!! This is one of the main things I was looking forward to and the only reason I bought it on my PS5 instead of my PC

I got mine quest shortly after the second trial. But my character is (was) also a very high level at the time. I spent a lot of my early game exploring and gathering collectibles so spend the majority of the game being overleveled.

This may be a consideration as well.

Yea, same here, I am level 30. I have been doing a lot of exploring and gathering and working on side quests. Not just focusing on the main line. When I read last night what I needed to have done though, I realized I have finished all of those things. The trials and the dragon quests. Still nothing 😞

Same here… completed the Full Game of Main Story! And it still Not appear. Also reported it on the WB bug Site But they wont help. They say My Report havent enough Votes for investigation.
It really sucks 🥲

Yea that is BS. They should not rely on a vote system! That requires random people to go in, see your post and vote on it! That is not the way support works! If there is a feature/quest that is supposed to be available even to just one person, and it is not working, then they need to fix it for YOU! Even if it is working for everyone else! This is so irritating. I main PC and only bought this on PS5 for this quest so I’m super aggravated that I don’t have access to it and they are telling my the same thing pretty much! Open a bug report…

Youre right but its the only way actually… sadly.
I think the Same, i would love to do that quest finally but if They wont fix it it wont happened.

After you talk with Penny, you will talk with the woman which is selling the shop. The woman will ask you to a favor to rescue “husband things” inside a chest inside the shop.

After you open the chest, it will open a ladder to the exclusive mission

Okay, but the quest still didnt appear. Penny Never stand in Front of that Shop, i was looking for her After every Main Mission since its Winter in Game 🤷🏻‍♂️

From every guide on starting the quest I have found none of them mention Deeks, just that it has to be winter, Fire and Vice finished, then talk to Penny in Hogsmeade but like others wife is way past that point and no Penny.

Thats the Problem, i Reported it, a few times… but they Close it everytime because of the low number of votes 😅
Maybe they Not Close my active Report yet and help 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ve read somewhere that the physical copy has a separate sheet of dlc code for it to show? Not sure since I bought it digitally

For the digital deluxe all the content was downloaded automatically. Checked the licence and the PS5 said they are all ok.

I am fairly confident Deek has nothing to do with this quest.

I completed the Hogsmead shop quest long before I had even unlocked my 3rd animal zone (forget the fancy word beginning with V) and certainly before I had even bothered to claim the phoenix.

Educated guess it is more likely to be locked behind ‘x’ completion of side quests in Hogsmead such as freeing biscuit, stealing the ven. T. Plant from the basement, etc.

It could also be seasonal? I think I completed it during the early winter season.

At least to me, when I randomly entered the RoR Deek wants to talk with me (Got a second?)

He said there’s was a shop on Hogsmead there I need to buy and need to go there to find the elf Penny which will give me more info about it

That’s why most people can’t see Penny randomly in Hogsmead, you need Deek first to “unlock” the mission

Obviously it’s not that randomly, I certainly complete a sequence of side quests before they give me this one but I don’t remember yet if was winter or I completed Fire and Zeal…

Certainly a head scratcher.
I would continue to push this with both bug tickets on the forum and to WB support. Although no idea how long responses are taking. I have a ticket approaching 3 weeks with no reply now.

Well, at least to me that’s the way I had to complete the side. Maybe for other people they just came to Hogsmead and saw Penny’s there.

Found a fix for our issue.

I had purchased the deluxe on my account and wife was playing on her profile but she didnt have an actual PSN account. Once she created an actual account and logged in the quest appeared in game. Which is weird as she had the other bonus stuff already.

I guess the token that validates the content required a PSN account.
