Why is there a transparent wall not allowing me to get to Imelda Reyes to complete this quest? Also, after the 2nd broom upgrade, my broom keeps diving right down regardless of what I try to do to get it up.

You have to go through the passage to get to the southeastern part of the map. It's near a medium bandit camp - southwest of the East South Sea Bog floo flame
