I was told that the first hippogriff you get, along with the thestral from the pack are not changeable for ones of different colors / shiny that you catch or breed. is this true? i would love to ride a shiny version of each or color match to outfits but if i cannot change the creatures out for other ones of different colors, it kind of kills 1/2 of the game for me for parts that i was most excited for.

You sadly can't ride shiny creatures you have captured the beast you can currently fly om are the white hippogriff, the black hippogriff and the thestral

Who knows maybe later we can they can always add it later in dlc or as content update, but for now I'll stick to brooms since they are also faster, although if they do add new flying things I hope they add broomless flight like voldemort can do, although that might just he for dark wizards ( so evil path)
