title. when im fighting certain mobs like the statue, their attacks go through protego and breaks it, dealing huge damage. are those damage not meant to be blocked but dodged?

From my understanding, If the warning is orange, you can use protego, but if it is red, you must dodge it. You can still dodge orange, but protego just doesn't work on the red.

Also fun thing you can do with the spider enemy ( atleast the normal sized ones) is when they start digging use levioso on them it will insta kill them
