Graphorn disappeared after getting knocked off during trial quest

the beast disappeared after a poacher knocked me off during the last trials quest. how do i get a new graphorn so i can complete the quest.

Use the Wait feature from the map, 2 times for a full day cycle. Do it from a different area, either Hogwarts or Hogsmeade

problem solved, i feel so stupid

he became my mount right, so i can summon him and i put him in my room of requirement so he is safe
