Females aren’t usually purple either, that’s a male color

I think it’s the same with Highwing, not too sure since I haven’t fully checked, but White is a primarily male color that I’ve seen in my game for hippogriffs (But I could also just be extremely unlucky in that case)

I’ve been trying to study them since Dimorphism is common in irl animals so

So far, I’ve seen females primarily come in this beige and brown, though I’ve seen the brown spawn as male, white seems primarily male, and all shinies I’ve caught so far have been male, though that’s just likely chance

Plus I really like the red puffskein look, but I’ve only seen it in females sadly

Pretty realistically too. If you brush them and they close their eyes, when they open them again, their eyes have dilated while closed and constrict when open again

I'm curious: Do you guys have any inspiration for naming your beasts?

I take inspiration from pretty much everything. I named my Thestrals Frida and Diego (after Mexican painters Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera) and my red Puffskein is named Carrie (because of the horror movie and also Carrie Underwood). I also started naming some beasts after their colors, like Bluey and Vio for two of my Nifflers.

One of my Nifflers is named Chucky and I misread his name as "Chunky" yesterday. Either way, it fits. 😅

Something so weird just happened to me: I went back to the Graphorn den in hopes to get a female. It was a male, but I wanted to catch it anyway. I died trying to tame it and when I respawned and walked back to try again, it was suddenly a female. But it wasn't one before?!
