I’ve been losing about 3 rounds and can’t figure out how to use Stupefy… I’ve held down Triangle (PS5) a million different ways to no avail- any tips or videos I can review are appreciated!

It doesn't work that way for me either. You can only defend but stupefy isn't working here... Don't know what I'm doing wrong

So I’ve taken out 2 (which feels by chance lol) but is there a way to target lock the guard that is actually taking more damage? Or do you just have to keep shooting spells at the same one until it is defeated? I’m taking fire elsewhere and I think I’m maybe moving around too much instead of just staying with one at a time.
