WB Account Services Down - Is there an option to link account later?

For a lot of us on PS5, the linking services are down (I imagine due to server load). Is there an option to link accounts later in the game or is it this or bust?

Looking at the help page I don't think there is an option to link the accounts later. The steps state to do it first then get through the introduction sequence.

I haven’t moved from the screen. Worst case I can delete the save & do it again 🤷🏻‍♂️

ive found that if you dont click the part after the letter that says start game and you reload the game you can go back through the setup stuff

I did all my linking earlier after their announcement, it’s just accessing said accounts due to WB servers getting Crucio’d is impossible atm

I just got through this. I kept clicking retry connection and then it worked after a couple tries

Granted I’m exhausted & would have loved to play right now, I’m good with waiting it out. The fact the servers are down means there’s an absolute crap ton of people trying & it means the game sold a ton of copies

everything we have read makes it seem like you have to link now before you start the game

otherwise you dont get your wand from the wizarding world website and what not

Yes you can do it later. Literally press start and it's in the options connect to wb account

The second screen is not the one from the start up. You can tell because it doesn't have the second option and it has back with circle

All my stuff was previously linked through the website this morning so when I got in it asked me to retry connection to their server and after awhile it got me through. Hopefully this helps

I was able to verify my e-mail, and connect to discord, steam, twitch and the fan club. It wasn't working for me before.

I got it work now I had to restart the game and do it from the main menu instead of in game menu. Though I encountered a second issue of my house and wand show up as nothing

Despite me having linked and done the quizzes

And it verifying it

Oh well I got my dlc bonuses

So website was a bust but bonuses I got
