Hmm ... let let me see if I can figure it out.

Out of curiosity, do you know the difference between changing appearance and changing clothes? This is appearance only, I think.

For instance, on xbox, if I push A then I get to change my clothes. But if I push X then I'm just changing the appearance.

Is appearance for physical look?

Appearance is what your clothes look like. In this game, they'll let you wear clothes so that you get the abilities but you don't have to have that appearance. You can still look like you're wearing your favorite outfit if you want.

So, again, (on Xbox) I equip clothes by clicking on robes with A but I change appearance by clicking on robes with X.

I'm enjoying it. Still not that far in but ambiance is just right and combat is pretty fun. They made finding stuff pretty straight forward but there's enough to find that chasing it all down still feels worthwhile (I'm a bit of a completionist).

Yeah I love the appearance option, makes the stronger but not as aesthetic clothes look cute
