@onyx crystal first 3 games were a bit... freestyling when it came to hogwarts
we dont talk about the fourth game
5th and 6th games had pretty screen-accurate versions of the castle and were also extremely similar in style and appearance, although they left out huge chunks of the castle interior
i dont remember there being a castle in the 7th game which makes sense
and it's been way too long since i played the 8th game so dont really remember the involvement of the castle there but since it was level-based (as far as i remember) i dont think there was an awful lot of the castle in that game either

Ok so I've been doing some research and pre 1830, students would travel to Hogwarts in enchanted carts and carriages which is what they show in the trailer, so to stick with canon wouldn't it have been better to set the game in early 1800s because it would fit and explain the story a bit better

@ancient wedge I agree with this. A lot of mini-games to immerse you, students walking around talking about school, and portraits that had so much personality. I also preferred the 5th games camera to the 6th to be honest, 6th was fine until you wanted to run anywhere and it zoomed in on your back so you couldn't see where you were running at all. 5th one always shows you what you need

I agree with this. A lot of mini-games to immerse you, students walking around talking about school, and portraits that had so much personality. I also preferred the 5th games camera to the 6th to be honest, 6th was fine until you wanted to run anywhere and it zoomed in on your back so you couldn't see where you were running at all. 5th one always shows you what you need
@red moat I agree with 6's camera being annoying when you wanted to run, but that game was much more welcoming to looking around. Im interested in looking at Hogwarts castle from all sorts of angles to see what it looks like, and the 5th game didnt really give me a chance to do that. Like, I wanted to be able to look up at the dark tower from the viaduct, suspension bridge or transfiguration courtyard, but that wasnt possible, the only place that allowed me to see the dark tower was the owlery, but that was very far away
