Others say that yes, they're recipient of a late acceptance, but they went to a different wizarding school first and transferred to Hogwarts in their fifth year.
Which one would you prefer, and if its the latter, what wizarding school would you want them to have attended pre-Hogwarts if we can choose?

Good point. Still, if my version of the character transferred to Hogwarts, I think I'd want him to have gone to Durmstrang if I could choose. I'm Norwegian, so I would've gone to Durmstrang if I hadn't been a Muggle.
