@thick vault perhaps. But Antonin Dolohov used an unknown incantation which would have killed Hermione except he was muted, and then would have killed Harry but he used his shield charm. And it was described as a slashing motion that creates a streak of purple flame. Makes you wonder what other non-violent use that spell is suppposed to have...

In fact, isn't Dark Magic by its very definition violent, harmful magic? (not including Necromancy)
@plush thorn maybe those spells weren’t like official one idk xd and what’s concerning dark magic - probably they can’t ban it because they have to fight with dark wizards... well i started to think about that and now I know what research I’ll be doing today before going to bed 😊

You guys have to understand that a developer releases are usually limited to what they can get support for. If they get the funds they can absolutely just hire people with experience and do well right out of the gate. However it all depends on how much the publishers trust the company. Just look at Rare going from N64 master, to Microsoft dev barely cruising by doing not so highly rated games and finally now coming out and doing big original IPs again, because Microsoft is letting them do what they want.

Tbh I think they will work on Multiplayer after the game is realised so we might have to wait a bit. The game gonna be awesome but imagine u can go to spell classes with your friends and eat in the Dinner hall and cast magic on each other in a big open world game.
