mm, yeah youre supposed to silly. don't do yourself the dishonor by recognizing your wounds more than your victories that got you here in the first place. everyone says things to make people feel better but in the end, it doesn't matter at all if you don't believe it.

you were supposed to lose those parts of yourself. no matter the reason it may have been, they no longer serve you and room was made for what you decide. no one is strong enough in this world because there are no winners. we all die so the risk doesn't matter, but the story does. whatever that story may be and it doesn't need to be mushy crap either.

taking that emotional break from deeper connections is needed to understand what types of connections you need in life. i do not think theres a sense of giving up here. mm, reallocating or recalibrating is a better word i believe. sometimes, you do not know youre in a loop until many years already in it. generational curses look different for everyone.
