Bots are in all matches but you’ll find less of them once you hit platinum ranked lobbies, as plat + seems to be merged so you’ll have everything from plat to Asura leading to higher % of real players vs bots in your matches

So you can start a blue and parry inmediately if you quick parry basically if your settings are the default ones it would be G, and if you're getting staggered by a normal attack you could use a combo break character like Tessa, Zai etc. and If you're fighting bots, they're obviously playing more different than real players since bots are quite advanced

one thing to note is they implemented 180º parry not too long ago. What's your ping tho? Because if your ping is 40 or above, fighting anyone below 30 ping will mean you getting rubberbanded.

and it's also more likely to escape from your combo

About parry while/after charging blue tho it's pretty common. You two hold check blue and if your opponent realses first you parry

spacing is really important but if you get caught by their attack and being low ping rubberbanded then your safest bet is having a character with a combo breaker. Other than that is all about getting good at neutral

You can use 10, 20 or 30 scrolls. There are 3 different types of celebration. The more expensive ones will reward the participants better, but the rewards will also increase with the number of attendees.

hey idk if you figured this out or not, but recently naraka was full crashing and freezing my pc, it sounds ridiculous but it seemed to be because my power plan was set at balanced (which is default) vs high performance. I have had 0 crashes since swapping it to high or ultimate performance

im on win11 home version, ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4070TI S gpu, so it was not a spec issue on my end either

one of my friends was helping me try to figure out why i was randomly freezing only during naraka and they have my same cpu/gpu and told me balanced would make them bluescreen in naraka as well, despite having 0 issues in other games or programs

i cant explain why, im no tech genius, but it is an easy setting you could change and see how it goes

If you don't like the idea of getting taught or coached then I'd just advise you to keep playing and keep playing since your game sense will improve within time and your movement too, learning naraka takes a while but you will get used to it. Since you're solar your lobbies will most of the time be higher than yours so all you can do is still play even though you don't win, you'll get better bit by bit

Can someone give me some pointers on better combat? I got to Platinum I and now i feel everyone got super good all of the sudden. I tried to tackle my problem by practicing in 3bans, but everytime i hold check and react to my opponents reaction they still catch me somehow. If i cancel my blue to dash into vertical on longsword, i always get a clink when i try to go for uppercut. Or their attack is just faster and lands after which they combo me. I'd really like to get better but i'm having a hard time identifying what i'm doing wrong. If i overhold and release it gets met with a counter. Nobody ever reacts to my first blue flash with counter, instead they start charging blue too.

If this place is wrong please tell me where i could reach for help and i'll delete my ramblings 🙂 Thank you.

and it takes a bit to learn the game but since you're platinum and I assume a new player as well you just need to play more because neutral gets built in games and customs, but outside of the customs the real games are more different so try to focus more on playing ranked games. Finding an opening is hard but if you start having a feeling of when they fake or they dash then you can easily win neutral against them, it takes a lot of time

Hold checking isn't as strong as it used to be since you can parry faster now like the cooldown of using the parry isn't as long as it used to be so. So try to not hold check too much since you'll still get parried eventually

The game is very much dependant on FPS and ms so if you have low FPS your combos and attacks will always be a bit slower than someone with higher fps, and the game is ms dependant so it means when someone is lagging the person has the upperhand but only if it's like 70 ms or somewhere above 50

Quite a lot of people have been having that problem, you could try to use gearup booster VPN, it fixed the problem for some people, make sure to only use gearup booster though since any other third program can result in a ban. My friend for example he's on pc and he has good ping in other games but he only has ping spikes in naraka (from 30-40 ping to ornage-red ping). Is not constant, it only happens a few times but is only in naraka

Yes the melee aim assist is quite a necessity as you cant really do dodges and combos properly without it, as well as not being able to use jump horizontal or jump parry without it. So yes it's a really important aspect of the combat in this game, even though sometimes it can grief you it brings more benefits than disadvantages

I'm not sure if this is a common issue, as I know people have abused high ping before, but they have "supposedly" fixed that from what others have said. I will say I have seen much less foreign players or players with high pings who play since that update. I've noticed that around certain players, when coming into contact, my ping seems to go up. I get 0 hit markers, even though I should be hitting them. It really has confused me and almost seems like now they have "lag armor"? I don't know what to do about this. I was playing without the boost or a VPN and this was happening, I turned on the sponsored gearup booster and it is still happening. It's really annoying when you hit someone with a grappling hook and nothing happens, or you are playing Feria and aiming directly at a high ping enemy and nothing happens... resulting in you getting caught in a the one MS that actually connects between you two. Anyways, rant over, does anyone know how to fix this or play around this? I didn't have this problem until I came back after the supposed update that fixed the lag abuse. Sorry for the long message. (And to add I normally have a ping of around 45-60ms but when these players appear my ping goes up to 75 ms +...)

I don't think it's the player making your ping higher, it could just get shaken up the ping when you meet an enemy which would still be weird whatsoever. If you encounter people with a high ping all you can do is try to fight them and hold check them since they have sometimes a harder time to parry. But remember the game is also FPS dependant so higher ping + high fps can lead to things as in getting staggered even though you held blue before it. The game is dependant on those two so there's not really a solution other than to just try to outplay them

You can bind it to any button but giving how limited the amount of buttons is you will have to sacrifice some other action.

However I don't think fixing your button would be that pricey. Definitely cheaper than buying a whole new controller obviously.

I've gotten some issues with my ps5 controller and I went to a local shop to get it fixed.

Another option could be buying an off brand controller that's compatible with xbox

This is because your rank in that mode and the average lobby rank is significantly low compared to your hero score

@lapis arrow tbh idk why people are telling you all that about controller, there really isn't a big difference, you can do all the combos and movement and everything. Only downside is inventory management and some weird button inputs for certain things

The downside comes with the console not the controller, if you have console you will be at a performance disadvantage which can affect your gameplay in multiple ways

Then this game is not for you. This game is focused on melee combat (it's even on their ad). The range weapons are just a plus, but it's more of just an additional damage or just finishers for stragglers. There's even a limit on how far you can see someone, you cannot scope them like on a sniper rifle level.

Aiming with controller is hard compared to mnk but the trick is basically not using the aim button since it slows you down and just use the cross hair for reference (also you can fiddle around with the settings)

Every player has armour in showdown unless equipped jade called Copper Ward.
With level 1 charas they have blue armour, so keep playing every chara so the armour upgrades to purple.
The reason he has everything locked is cause he needs to progress all stages in order.

how does this Aegis shield mechanic work in PvE mode?

bosses and some mobs got aegis shield (the yellow bar below their HP bar), when their aegis is up, your general damages will goes into both HP and aegis (except for some specific type of damages that only deal dmg to health or aegis). Break their aegis gonna knock them down for awhile and increase your damage to them.

it's only a tiny bit stronger than gold in terms of dmg, it's not a full weapon tier upgrade like the others, as normally each weapon tier is +20% more damage compared to white weapon which is treated as the base

think like 1-4% at most

and it has roughly 4-5% lifesteal

that's all it does

4-5% might sound low but it can make a big difference in combat

you hit people a couple times, especially with a souljade, that's +300 extra hp for you, equivalent to an armor upgrade

as for red armor, it's a full armor tier higher than gold, unlike the weapon upgrade
