Hey, if the last supported version of angular with @angular/fire is angular 12, how do you work with it in later versions ?

Where did you get that? It's not 12. https://github.com/angular/angularfire/releases/tag/16.0.0
(and it's in fact compatible with v17, at least I haven't seen problems)
