Finally found a decently priced E5 plus. Told myself I would wait for a while and see what a stock one would do before doing the mod. Found out I was just kidding myself and ordered all the parts for the conversion. I think it's time to yoink the E5 pro to make room for a second Mercury in the family.

Red Lizard Hotend (Might swap out for a dragon HF if I want to try HF)

Currently deciding on a color scheme. I have white and black to match my other mercury but might want something else.

Parts came from fabreeko and aliexpress yesterday. Finishing up a few of the printed parts while fighting pi shutdown issues on my other mercury. Should be done with those today and might start the teardown

Made some progress today. Also ordered the wrong bed size like a noob

Got quite a bit done. Motion system is on and hotend mostly assembled. Working in electronics bay now. Swapped the shcs for some Phillips head machine screws. Cheaper at the hardware store by a mile.

DIN rail is coming from the west coast so its late in the mail. Here's the ghetto temporary solution
