I am using orca slicer with the orca pack from turtle. I have ran thru Ellis calibrations. Voron revo nozzle. I’m pretty happy with the overall print but as you can tell the overhangs are lacking.

whats your fan settings?
0% for first layer then 100% rest of the time running a 120mm with cpap
i did just see that my bridge flow was set to .8 so i changed it to 1 and running again since some of those have gaps on the bridge lines
Trihorn on eva 3.0
I’m assuming this is why but I can’t figure out why it’s not doing full lines.
No pressure advanced on this one.
are you sure orca slicer has a cooling setting for bridge and regular print speed what are those settings? im running cpap. what material? for me only pla sees 80 percent max for bridges.
Regular PLA
what temp?
i have raised speeds and accel from the stock profile also.
205 is what i've been trying.
have you ran a temp tower and checked the bridging on them?
The one from orca. It all looked the same regardless of temp.
i get a similar look on bridges maybe a little thicker. maybe your brdge speed? ave you tried just bridging tests? im unsure. it seems to be a cooling issue based on your first images.
I've ran bridge files but didnt know there was bridging tests, i'll have to look those up. Cooling was my first thought as well and why i went cpap but it seems to make no change
something like this.
Am I supposed to make that do different things at the different bridges? If so how?
no thats just to check how long your bridges can go and when do you get problems
I can’t even print the zero g astronaut without having sagging.
im trying to calibrate everything myself. my astronaut looks more bad than yours
Gotta be some setting. This is 1000x worse then when I was stock.
you missing cooling
well
copy these into your orca profile and try to work with them
they should be better
Where do those go into the profile?
same like the zero g profiles
so i added it to Orcaslicer\Resources\profiles\ZeroG\filament and still dont see them
than try the import configs top left by the file menu
maybe you have to change the PA and temp settings cause i am going with a steel hardend
Used the Polymaker profile - no difference
Trying without any cooling - i know it will sag now but curious if i just have too much
Well 0 cooling is worse for sure but I can’t imagine I don’t have enough cooling at this point using a tri horn with cpap and my bridges are 50mms
Did you checkt the button for lower print speed for small areas?
The slow down for overhangs?
Oh yes. That is on
you tried to test with this settings ?
Yes, tried with these when you gave them
Nothing changed?
No. So far nothing has made a difference in my overhangs. I’m going to drop the speed to stock bridge speed and see if anything changes once I get back from the long weekend
You can try. For me i never found a good way for long bridges. Im sorry
Even if I got back to stock bridges I’d be happy. Right now I gained nothing doing the zero g mod. Sure it goes faster but print quality is worse comparatively
I do also struggle a bit with the quality. I know i could do better but yeah dont know
Are there any Slicer profiles to start with (M1.1 + Hydra)?
