#Pokemon types

I’m going through every Pokémon and justifying their typing based on parameters I’ve created based on current Pokémon and Pokémon lore
I’m on Jhoto so the current Pokémon I’ve changed small aspects of are Bulbasaur, Alolan Sandshrew, Zubat, Doduo, Seel, Cloyster, Alolan Exeggutor, Staryu, Gyarados, and Azurill
These are the current parameters:
- Fire: Naturally produces fire or a significant amount of heat, usually passively
– Water: Naturally aquatic or semi-aquatic
– Grass: Is a plant, part plant, or has a symbiotic/parasitic relationship with a plant (that is present on its body)
– Ice: Adapted to live mostly or exclusively in the cold and uses cold to defend itself
– Poison: Produces a poison or toxin and uses it in a significant manner
– Rock: Is partially or entirely made of rocks or a rock-like, non-metallic substance
– Ground: Made of more malleable Earth materials such as clay or have significant connections to clay/mud/sand/etc
– Flying: Can fly and has a weakness to electricity not sufficiently explained by an existing type
– Bug: Insect or insect-adjacent creature (name is self-explanatory)
– Dragon: Can be reptilian or no, with wings or no, all poses a unique weakness to both Ice and Fairy types — Ice due to being cold-blooded
– Steel: Is made of metal or has some form of metal on its body
The Normal, Psychic, Ghost, Dark, Fairy, and Fighting types aren’t included here as they’re explained by the existing Pokémon concept of aura and that’s a very complicated explanation that requires a wiki page (and has one)
GG @wary fossil, you just advanced to level 13!
