I just scheduled a cardiologist appointment for a POTS evaluation after seeing my GP and would like to know what everyone else's evaluations were like. What tests were done? Did you have to do things after or before the appointment (other than hydrating properly and taking electrolytes)? What criteria and symptoms were discussed?

Well if its a ||Blood|| test don't have any electrolytes like the week before-ish so they get an accurate reading. Also uh stress cardiology tests were done, do not hide your symptoms during this. Last thing you will want to get your gp to do after all those is do a tilt-table. So then everything else is ruled out before they can check for POTS.

For me they are having me wear a heart monitor for a week, but there are other tests (like the tilt table test which I haven’t done) that you may do. I don’t think there’s a blood test but take my words with a grain of salt.
