dunno i’m just bleh and kinda ‘not-here’ which sucks bc i miss out on convos and full on hours or days. I’ll just kinda be all fuzzy and kinda seeing myself sitting from far away and then boom i’m like 4 hours later somehwere else

i do have ptsd/trauma but can’t remember any of the things that happened, i actually can’t remember a whole year

Who knows what happened? I even have like pieces of clothing thats like…not my style and things i’d never buy or smt in my closet and room

We relate to you a bit. Like we can’t remember much at all before 2022 and we also have some clothes that our host hates wearing but others like wearing and it was confusing before we thought we were a system. Our host will also not remember an entire day but just know that he was in school. Or he’ll forget an entire morning and just sort of come back around lunch.

yeah, that’s exactly what’s been happening. I’ve always kinda had it after that year, but never stood still to think about the fact that, hey, no one else has this. I miss full on schooldays, but i know that i’ve been there (like u said).

I’d recommend looking into it but just don’t push too hard because it will end up hurting you more than helping you. (We know from personal experience that pushing too hard can cause debilitating headaches for hours on end for us)

Haha I’m the gatekeeper, so I know a lot about our system including the fact there’s still one more unnamed alter that we don’t know properly yet. And even I can’t see the whole inner world. But I may work on building one

yesss thats what i mean. For me, its this gray-shaded place that has long windows and black doors that i can’t get into. I didnt try, i just knew that i couldn’t at that point. I didn’t make it up or smt, it’s just really what is ir (does that make sense?)

^ but thats all, i’m 100% sure that that’s (what i saw) was only the beginning or a tiny bit. I’m not too sure how i came there, i was kinda disassociating and then i felt a kinda pull and then i was there. During the time there, i didn’t feel my body and wasn’t even in the world, and i knew that. After like 10 seconds of looking around, i was back to the world and i could feel my body again.

Ok. So we told our teacher on Tuesday about us and she has told our dad. But we’re not sure why because we thought that as we are (bodily) 16, we have a right to not tell anyone anything. But is that different for schools?
(I am in the UK by the way)

mmm, i think that if the teacher thinks its necessary to tell the parents for your own ‘health’ to make sure you’re safe and stuff. They’ll do that until 18/when you’re am adult. <- this is in the netherlands btw. So i thiiink that the teachers are allowed to say anythimg to parents if they think you might be in danger to yourself or others (even if thats not true))

Does anyone know how to ground when the front is so crowded like a store in the mall?

Use lots of positive triggers, I tend to like using a dull needle and just tapping along my arms/face/etc. to get my brain to focus/get feeling back into my limbs(usually for heavy dissociation), lots of water

Those are some things that help me

Maybe try focusing on a specific alter and their traits. Or maybe yourself.

It'll bring you more focused on who you are trying to make sit in front easier

when im in this kind of situation, i usually try to avoid overload that comes easily to me, put some earphones or earplugs and finding positive triggers of someone in front who can hold front. anyone other than one or few can leave and be out of front room, so can give passive influence to the fronters.
also i try to find colors, specific foods or drinks that recalls/trigger (pos) the stronger few alters. so others can actually leave easily.
and calling a front-gatekeeper or manager of the front, whatever is the name? we call it the first one. and yeah basically this is.
or we just focus on switching, using the dissociation, put someone get used to front even in random times, and then they focus on grounding and understanding the situation.

these are many ways we use. i now its like +5h from the message but i still want to put this advices/ideas here.

If you have sp, turn on the permanent "who's fronting" thing in your notifications

You could also use a notes widget on your phone and change that up occasionally

I don’t understand why we are splitting so much. Nothing traumatic has happened. I mean ig Jay has struggled for over a year now as host and he found out about the rest of us almost a month ago now. But I don’t know if that would be enough to cause us to gain 8 new alters.

However we did see the person who is a lot of the reason we are a system a couple weeks ago and she is still contacting us and stressing us out generally. So that may be it.

(for the pk thing, we use “plural kit dash”. we literally type that on safari/chrome/[browser] and we log with discord. then we do all the stuff and now we only use commands for setting the autoproxy (1 specific alter) or latch (last alter signed with proxy). hope this helps /g )

for us we create stuff to do to havw them interested and focused while doing important things when they're not suppose to front. usually we make things in front boring and in hs very interesting. also we have caretakers for them and gatekeepers to not let them "escape in front" (sometimes they try and they reach out, but seeing things boring they go back).

i do not suggest to do that always / so often but yeah

Hey guys, Im wondering, am I faking? Like most of the time, I cant hear anyone, but like sometimes I can, and I never really fully switch which is like P-DID I suppose, but like when one of my friends told me I was most likely a system, my brain reacted in a super weird way. Systems have personality changes but it feels like we're super good at masking, but my sister told me that and that she doesnt see the distinct personality changes

It depends on which alter and a lot of variables. Some are completely unnoticeable and others are really noticeable.

You can recall it sometimes, via memory sharing or just subconsciously knowing something happened but most times its really hard to tell unless its coconsciousness or cofronting or things are happening that are different to how you normally act in a particular way shape or form.

normally. for us. it’s different for each alter. and most of the time there’s some form of collective memory but it’s really fuzzy. like, we remember we did the thing but we don’t remember the specifics of that thing (time it took, people we were with, actual activity) unless we were the alter fronting. yeah. i dunno.

when switches are longer it’s harder to hide it. and when they are shorter, it’s like. we don’t even notice if both alters are close to the front.

i’m not educated enough on that. i know certain alters can be trauma holders. i’m not gonna share names or specifics for safety, but one alter really hates being touched, another is really energetic most of the time, one is very monotone in how he speaks.

no, our communication sucks lol. we have to use an app (simply plural) to ask who is fronting so we can track it. which isn’t the most uncommon maybe, not entirely sure, and it’s not all of the time, sometimes alters make it very well known that they are co-con. i tend to be in charge of monitoring physical health (drinking, eating) and keeping track of simply plural.

Yeah theres lots of co occuring mental and physical health. Your body tends to keep the score from trauma.

Zoning out is like a temporary break in concentration that basically just temporarily disconnects you from reality, however you can easily snap out of it
Dissosiation is a trauma response that us typically harder/impossible to just snap out of. It is essentially your brain shutting down and seperating you from your body, making things like emotionally responding to things very difficult

Some people even lose feeling in their limbs when their dissociation is more severe

From what I know there has been once that I stopped moving and stared at the front of my classroom and then don't know how much time passed and then I heard my teacher say get started. No memories during that time
