I am unsure how to access the right click menu with the EPL Editor and other such tools.

I just want to mess around with some EPLs for now

Ok so, go to the Pads option right by the config option. When that opens, on the top left there's a option that says "keyboard", click that and select "null". Then click out of that pad tab and go back to the game.

Okay, so new issue, whenever I try to open my own files it says that it cannot be found

Well you need to put that file you want to edit in the same folder as the EBOOT.bin

#

So like for example:
P5beta/PS3_GAME/USRDIR

The weird thing is they show up in the file selector but wont load

Hm. I think you would have to rename that file to a file that exists in the game's files. Something like "bksk_hero_cte.EPL". Then when you want to put it into something like P5R, rename it back to what you want it to be called.

It also seems to crash whenever I try loading a dds

Ok I think I know why. Move the battle/event/bcd/goodbye folders out of that mod folder.
