hii i hope i explain this clearly im so sorry if not 
i have the royal project and p5ex mods and everything because i wanted to play vanilla p5 but still have kasumi as a party member and such
p5ex requires the royal bustup mod but i want everyones portraits to stay the same as in the vanilla version.
can i edit the cpk file and delete everyone elses portraits ? will this mess up my save file?
please whatever you can recommend would be a big help thank you so much

Hey, I'm one of the devs for The Royal Project
It won't mess up your save file at all if you edit the bustups CPK file
As long as you don't delete any of the new bustups that Royal added you can play with it
If an event plays and a dialogue box tries to come up with a bustup file you deleted then the game will just softlock
