Hey… SOOOOOOOO, I’m kinda new to modding (like, honestly, I have absolutely zero experience with this), but I’d really love to mod Persona 3 Reload with a French dub (since… well, I’m French… yeah, very logical).

But I have no idea where to find the audio files and their corresponding text — whether it’s cutscenes or in-game dialogue (normal world or the Dark Hour).

So I basically need someone to explain to me:

  • how to locate and extract all the audio files and their associated text (preferably already sorted by language — in this case, French),
  • and once the voices are recorded, how to pack everything into a proper mod that people can install and use online.
    Posting the mod won’t be a problem for me — I just need to know how to actually compile it into a working mod.

You need fmodel to go through p3r files

The go-to tool for viewing and extracting files from Persona 3 Reload.

Select Unreal Engine 4.27 and make sure to enter the AES key / decryption key in Directory > AES:

If you set it to load "all" you can just follow this path (P3R/Content/L10n/fr) and all the french files will be in there. Xrd777 is for regular game files and Astrea is for episode aigis

And then I think all audio files are in P3R/Content/Xrd777/Cridata/Steram/en in awb files

I recommend finding mods that edit text and audio and seeing the folders in them to give yourself an idea of how it works
