idk how i feel about adding rng to recruitment negotiation tbh. like setting aside that im a dummy who couldnt even get the hang of vanilla negotiation, outside of early game its main purpose is just getting compendium % and fodder you can fuse/itemize/sack for something better, and even then its still strictly worse than just fusing/rebuying the demon you need once money stops being an issue

the thing is that this is not for the negotiation funnily enough

you see, enemies here have way more hp, so you would have to spend quite a lot of resources to get rid of them, and running away increases your alarm meter that doesnt naturally go down while inside the dungeon

but negotiation is an easy 100% bypass of any hard battle

'give me money' and then you can run away from literally anything

this is to make it riskier to try and avoid a hard fight

plus, persona exp

you can easily grind persona exp with negotiation

huge moneymaking is also a problem

this is less for the negotiation system's sake, and more for the battle system's sake

I am loving the little touches for Renko/Toki’s dialogue per her being a lesbian. The disciplinary lessons is right out of the 1950s. Also pure Kamoshida. Even in the Stage show he was always careful to leave the sex stuff as implied although he’s careful to leave the hitting stuff implied too. He’s a brilliant albeit disgusting and despicable character. You could telll how much fun Shun Takagi had and how sad he was at the end.

I like the idea that someone might even learn about some of our own history from this mod.

He reminds me of Shun Takagi a lot too. He has that same “I act like I just hit them but I have way scummier skeletons in my closet” Yuji Mitsuya(jp VA) I am so used to him it’s hard to say anything other than he’s good.

Shun played it more like an idol almost. Douglas plays it so straight it make it all the more terrifying what a monster Kamoshida is.

He’s still the worst villain in P5 for me. It’s also gratifying that I get to kick his ass everytime I restart

yes! it’s definitely worth watching the first one! I watched all of them. But I watched the last two with auto translate and my knowledge of Japanese. But the first one is pretty self contained with a small lead in to Madarame. (and it’s on crunchy roll)
