then grab all the stuff from the nov 23 release (2.8.4), as well as the last version of persona essentials before this one

The fix for this one is normally to update Reloaded, you shouldn't need to downgrade stuff. For whatever reason that error consistently happens on older versions of Reloaded.
That said, apparently a bunch of random crashes have been happening on the newer version of things so if you've already updated it might be best to just leave it as is for now if it's working.
