#Attempting to mod battle music themes has resulted in no music playing during battles at all.

In an attempt to install P5R Randomized Battle Themes (https://gamebanana.com/sounds/72005), I thought I had followed the installation guide for its prerequisites, [BGME Framework (https://gamebanana.com/mods/477399) and BGME Battle Themes (https://gamebanana.com/mods/488707)], but when entering into combat, no music plays at all. Strangely, the victory music is still vanilla and plays as normal, so I'm not sure where I went wrong.
The mod I have highlighted in the attached image is the music mod I was instructed to make during the BGME set-up process.
Have I gone wrong somewhere? Would appreciate any help!

normally id say delete AmbushAmbushed.pme in cbt, actually you should prob do that anyway, but id expect that to cause wrong music not no music
are you on latest game ver?

Yes

#

Also, before posting, I already deleted the .pme files in the CBT folder

#

I saw that being a fix for other posters' problems, so I tried it. No dice.

maybe try redownloading ryo, bgme, and battle themes, and making sure you have shared scans

I have shared scans, it just didn't fit in the reloaded window I screenshotted

#

But I can try redownloading. Do I have to go through all their setup directions again too? Or is simply reinstalling enough?

just reinstall for now

#

actually, what is bgme self mod?

if you disable it, does battle bgm work
(if it does turn out to be the issue then thatd be more of a #1045463242765504552 thing but put a pin in that)

Alright, I'll try

That fixed it! I wasn't even considering that to be the source of the problem. I guess I created it while setting up BGME Framework, thinking it was required!
