but like when you get into the meat of it
Akechi's investigating strange cases of people suddenly being stripped of their free will, he makes a friend who's clearly hard done by and there's that whole Light/L dynamic going on where the guy who looks like Light is actually the L

He struggles with maintaining his public persona and the apeshit one (which he makes use of in the metaverse for its strength), the real killer (Joker) almost gaslights him into thinking that Akechi himself is dissassociating and killed Okumura etc

I guess only issue is nobody else would really have an excuse to join him but
He could be mentored by Naoto or something even, hence Detective Prince 2, she acts as his Sojiro figure

Protagonist suffers because of a pre-game event, continually suffers because his companions are idiots, the shadow world is overexplained by scientific jungian nonsense, and finally the protagonist must suffer a terrible fate at the end because of a poor story

All of this at the expense of a cohesive plot and cast of characters

I'm not sure I understand. There are a few files that use BF emulator, so those have a dummy file. All the other files don't use emulation so there're are compiled BFs.
If a BF file is missing or if there's no dummy file, that should mean I haven't edited that file at all

But normally, you can't use BF emulation and compiled files together. If you use BF emulation like that, it will look for the vanilla game file to apply the edits that were made in BF emulation

So to apply the BF emulation edits to MY compiled BFs, I've put them in the Costume Frameworks folder (Characters\Joker\1)

For some reason, those take priority before the emulation can apply the edits

Again, if you can't find the files you're looking for here, that means I've not edited the file

Unless you can tell me which file you want to edit
