I'm glad people like it and wanted it too! What actually drew me into the mod was an image of the long haired white outfit model. After seeing Kasumi for so long now, playing as Kasumi made me feel like playing a prestablished character rather than a self insert. The white outfit & long hair make her feel like a whole new character 😊

That's probably intentional from Grinchula. Joker calls the name of every persona, but you can't with Kasumi since she doesn't voicelines for them. However, that means you can still make special voicelines for certain persona

That's really easy to fix, just rename the white recolor's texture name

If two textures share the same texture name the first one that was loaded won't be unloaded

it would be best to go through any models you've edited and ensure the edited textures are renamed

Make sure you actually saved when setting Joker to Slot_1 in Custome Framework. Also, check if you're correctly running Wisteria's test build. If it still shows up as version 0.2.2 in your load order, you need to delete the old version first (both new and old have the same "mod id" so Reloaded can only see one)

To export the hair texture with the pink ribbon, open the swimsuit model in GFD Studio. Click the plus next to the file name to expand the drop down table, then right click on the name of the hair texture (c0010_01_hair_t156_c.dds) and select Export.

Replacing a texture is essentially the same process, except instead of clicking Export, you have to click Replace and then select the texture file you exported from before. And then press Ctrl+S (or click File + Save on the top left corner of the tab) to save the edited model.

If it's not the load order and costume framework, it could just be you're missing files or something else.
Try disabling everything Rose & Violet first, but keep Custom Bonus Tweaks and Kasumi as protagonist enabled.
If you still have stretched Kasumi, check like I mentionned earlier today if Wisteria's mod has no missing files (1283 files for me, 392 folders)

The only adult romance I can see working is Chihaya. The other feel too contrived with Kasumi. To romance one of the adult, you have to get out of your way as Joker or they will reject you. I feel it's out of character for Kasumi so I'd have a time writing those romances and making them fit with the edits I've made to those confidant (especially Kawakami)

Kasumi is a month younger than Futaba. I am always drawn to Makoto because of Rina Sato but it almost felt odd because I saw her as older then me in my betafemc playthrough.

When I started to think about Ann as both Kasumi's senpai and her first female phantom thief friend it started to click.

That should be correct. The masked portraits should only be present in the metaverse or palaces (naturally) and dosent affect overworld portaits (hence DeathChaos's fix). Do you have a save in a palace or mementos by any chance?

you have to unzip it

There you go, that's your issue. You're missing files. You should have 431 .GAP files in this folder, up to AE0001_910.GAP and then a few BE0001_XXX.GAP. I'm fairly sure this is is going to be same in the FIELD folder.
Anyway, delete the Kasumi as Protagonist mod you have installed and reinstall from a fresh extract or redownload it if it's still incomplete

Hey all! Wanted to get some perspectives

From what I understand, people interpret this scene in three ways at once: Sojiro being a dad and subtly checking if Ann and Joker are dating, Sojiro being protective and making sure Ann is good hanging out with three guys, as the sole girl of the group (which includes Joker who has a record). And three, that it's a bait for Sojiro having distorted desires

Any interpretations on how this dynamic changes with Kasumi? What would Sojiro's intentions be in this case?

I'd also found it cute how this implied Ryuji had a (secretly mutual) crush on Kasumi at first. But I just realized I got it completely wrong and it probably wasn't something as innocent as that lol

Also it is fairly subtle, but Ann gets a lot of judgement due to being mixed race.
Sojiro is not doin that, but he is aware how that affects a teen having a daughter like Futaba.
Since Ann is part (Finnish I believe) she faces a lot of unfair rumours just from her appearance.
Ann is hanging out with a known delinquent so maybe Ann is one too.

Personally, I think it's mostly your first point. He wants to know if she's someone girlfriend (Joker's particularly). I think he's also curious about what kind of girl would hang out with him (thus the "Sweet girl" comment he makes after).
For Kasumi, it's more or less the same. Two girls and two boys, so it's easy to think they're two couples. Sojiro would want to know who Kasumi's dating, so he asks Ann if she has a boyfriend. Since she says she doesn't have one, it's likely they're not couples but just friends.

I think that CBT randomize the title models. The colorful ones here are actually the Striker's model, if you look closely. Protag Kasumi only has one model so she's always red

I had a hard time rationalizing the scene in the moment, but this is actually a very nice explanation to the event and perfectly evokes the same feelings (though admittedly I think I would've struggled to come to that conclusion without this discussion. Probably since I have the base game in mind)

Actually, I also think all three points are happening concurrently in the Sojiro scene. I love it when dialogue manages to establish multiple things at the same time!

im glad sojiro is one of the few good adults in p5r he’s just a victim of circumstance like most others and he’s trying his best to make up for wakaba’s death by being a decent father figure to futaba even though its not his fault and there’s realistically nothing he could do about it.

His story is one of my favorites and it ties in so nicely with the main plot
