Always Rank Up uses FEmulator, my mod did not before the update, so both mod couldn't work together (you could only get the edits from one of the mods to work, not both). Since my mod doesn't edit the same stuff as Always Rank Up, compatibility is very easy achieve here with FEmulator

The real important thing was I got a lot of insight into how much work Zylvos and Wisteria put in on these mods.

Editing that event between silly and then serious was a lot of work and I haven't even gotten to fine tuning it yet. (like Morgana saying "We should keep an eye out for any leads about people hurting cats that sounds terrible!")

It was really eye opening but also magical and fun.

Yes. The aim of the beta is to correct typos and troubleshoot issues with getting everything set up.
Most of the requirements are on GB right now. You'll just need to download Wisteria's mod, my mods (Rose & Violet, a model mod and the addon if you want them too) and adjust your load order and you should be good

Inaba Exe Patcher --> Don't use it unless you have to. It seems to flag romances when you don't want to.
Gay Joker --> I keep seeing it's not working correctly with P5R 1.04.
Glasseless Joker / Beta Joker Model restoration / Persona 5 2015 Beta Arsène --> Joker and Arsène are replaced, so why use them?

It's a bit difficult to troubleshoot here. I recommend disabling mods until it fixes itself to figure out what's causing this

The event for Sae asking the protag why they targeted Kamoshida is 120_002. You can test it with mod menu every time you disable a bunch of mods. When it goes back in english, you know you've disabled the mods that are causing the issue

At the very least, I've tested it just now with my load order and it's working correctly

That's the best I can do white the heart-shaped leotard. Since it's just a retexture and not an actual mesh, it clashes a bit more with the rest of the costume (this is way less noticeable in black)

Also, I got the holdup music bug that happens when triggering the AOA right as the negotiation is about to begin

Please, update to the latest version of those mods to make sure the report are accurate. To do so, delete the folder with the previous version and replace it with the new version.

Considering this is my 3rd play through and the only play through this has happened on I'm unfortunately willing to blame it on this set of mods but, in palace 4, ||chamber of sarcophagi, you're meant to take and place the gems with the Anubis statues. They're meant to flip the light onto the door in the main hall, but no matter the configuration of gems I try, the light does not flip||

I'm not sure if this is caused by this mod, but this is the first time this is happening, and this is also my first time using this mod

I am at Maruki's Palace and I haven't faced any bugs that weren't due to Kasumi's model. If I went through a battle too fast when I would get exp when Kasumi was on the screen she would be halfway off the camera so in the corner 😂 other than that no issues. This is with no other mods than the one needed for this one.

No issues with the gems at all other than my brain forgetting some had to be in a certain order to advance

none of the mods needed for this make any changes to the palace itself short of just diologue tweaks to fit the different main character

none of them should affect or alter any of the palace puzzles so maybe just a glitch on his end or some other mod conflict

and I wouldnt use mod menu to glitch a quest door your just asking for stuff to break. And in fact if you are using mod menu that is likely why you are. Zylvos has said more then once not to use it. So you may have broken your game

I've been extra careful with Futaba's palace because I encountered more than one softlock when playing with the other story overhaul when I played it 2 years ago. I didn't have issues when playtesting it, so maybe:

• Try exiting the game and restarting from an earlier save, just in case that's a stochastic error

• Try disabling Rose & Violet or some other mods and try again

Don't know if it's been ported, but there was a mod on PS3 that would let you replay boss fights by sitting on the couch in the attic
If it has been ported, you could use that to redo Kamoshida and fine tune your settings until you get the challenge you want

B. sometimes it happens when the mod isn't fully loaded into reload.

C. It CAN happen with a costume error but since Wisteria and Zylvos made it next to impossible for Kasumi to have access to a non Kasumi costume this is rare. (although check to see if she is wearing a costume you don't normally wear and maybe change her equipment and costume)

IN REGARDS TO B, So sometimes a mod will appear on your list but it's not actually existing on reload.

If you recently updated Rose and Violet or Kasumi as Protagonist and Restarting the game and checking equipment doesn't help:

Delete the Kasumi and rose and violet mods and pay close attention to your mod list number.

After making sure you have the newest versions:

Re add them and make sure your mod list number goes up by "1" every time you add them

Even if your issue is now fixed this simple process fixes a LOT of issues.

Because every once in awhile, a mod doesn't fully add in.

And if you look at the number of mods it will let you know.

so if you just added your 60th mod and everything is fubar check your mod list.

Maybe it says you have 59 mods.

Very minor nitpick: I'm in June now where kasumi is talking to her classmates? (Iida and Nishiyama) and calls them by Kun. Shouldn't it be Senpai? Or at least I think they're second years.

I think for the mod Kasumi refers to the thieves as Senpai because she meets them right when she transfers and then of course Haru and Makoto are senpai to everyone.

I think there is some interesting back and forth dialogue between her and Futaba about that too.

As for her classmates I am unsure But If it were me I would headcanon that she was told the same thing about calling people senpai but her classmates were mean about it.

So she stopped calling her classmates senpai because she doesn't want to make waves.

But she looks up to her fellow thieves even if she IS the leader.

You can use the bribe mod, it should be fine. There seem to be one epilogue dialogue with Lavenza in it (where "man" is replaced by "woman") so I recommend disabling it once you're done with levelling up the social link

There's actually a rare leftover from very early development in here. Sumire shouldn't use "-chan" for Kasumi, so I'll fix this

Are you extracting individual mods in the mod folder? You should get mods path like
Reloaded-II\Mods\p5rpc.kasumi.roseandviolet_beta_HF2
Reloaded-II\Mods\kasumi_as_protag_-_alternate_model130_beta_HF2
etc

I remember someone downloading the whole google drive into a single .zip and they tried to decompile that into their mods folder. You need to download each mod separately and extract them in the "Mods" folder

Yes. It works quite well. I would make sure to to get the Jp "kasumi over Joker" voice pack which is on game banana if you do not have it already:) That way Kasumi will also be Japanese

(it should also be bundled with the kasumi mod too I think)

Any warnings like this don't really cause any issues and should be ignored

If it was an audio issue it'd either crash or not play the audio cue, the latter being the most likely

I've never seen audio cause softlocks so I doubt it's related

its great isnt it? Aside from the stuff that involves the sisters I feel Zylvos also made The protagonist as a whole have more agency.

As well as some more relevancy where she should be mentioned. Even with Ren there were points in the game where I was surprised he wasn't mentioned or addressed.

So some of those "Wait a minute...." moments have an interaction in this mod.

I remember having some of those issues with the other story overhaul, so I thought it was because of it. I was extra careful during testing with Futaba's palace I don't remember encountering a softlock

I'll try with and without fast-forward

So I already had a save right before the elevator

First try : works perfectly

I reload the save before the elevator

Second try : softlock

Tried again after restarting the game and got it first try

I disabled everything related to Rose & Violet and the softlock never happens

I re-enabled Rose & Violet and the softlock happens

Now to figure out which file is causing this

It's possible it's the same file as the gem thingy

Okay, so at least I know why this is happening

Futaba's palace files are from early development, so I probably used a tool with faulty libraries

PersonaEditor seems to be the only way to reliably edit text in BF files

Even the AtlusScriptTools with the updated libraries can't recompile the elevator file properly. I'm still getting a softlock with it

But I have this wild Idea I am tentatively calling "Harvester of Tartarus" that would replace the basic dungeon music with apocalyptica's harvester of sorrow and boss battle music with their "Path vol 2"

But just gonna start with teaching myself how to encode learning where the files are and getting the courage to post the one mod I already have finished(i asked for permission from The encoder so its a collab with credit)
