#How to export RWS / RMD as .fbx without crash w/ Amicitia / Noesis

Trying to rip Yasogami High files from the PS2 ver of Persona 4 with little to no success. Is getting 3DS max really the only way to approach this?
Can't find many resources on others ripping map files for base P4. Any advice would be helpful.
