#Adrenaline modding, cutscenes and other mods don't work

I've been trying to set up these mods including the cutscenes restored for psp one on my vita, but it seems like issue after issue.
I made the mod.cpk normally through aemulus, though it would have an error at the cutscenes one specifically when I tried with an existing ULUS10512.ini and removing that file let it finish (the file was empty anyways, I just put it there for the cheats path..). The game itself works just fine, both the previous normal version and the newly patched EBOOT version. I would also like to add before I start that I'm still relatively new to Vita modding so if I'm doing something wrong with the cheats files, that's why.
Regarding the cutscenes restored mod specifically:
-When using tempAR I can't really get any cheat to work, it took me a moment to figure out how to get the correct ULUS-10512.db set up but after enabling cheats and enabling the unhardcode ones it does nothing but continue P3P as normal. The game skips the opening movie.
-When using CWCheat I can get it to "work" for the opening, where you can only skip the opening with Start. When pressing New Game and going into the first cutscene (male route ofc) it either doesn't start and continues the P3P version, or black screens and stops, and I haven't exactly worked out the reason it does one over the other yet.
-I've tried deleting and reinstalling both tempAR and CWCheat to restart the process and neither seems to work, I've tried the cheats files found on the gamebanana page, in that page's comment section, in a reddit post going in more detail on how to install over CWCheat, and in one of the other threads in this channel about the same issue (that thread unfortunately did not help me solve the problem but did give some insight).
-I've tried both with the mod added with other mods in aemulus and in its own bind folder.
-I have tried both with and without the Mod Support cheats in the cheat file but I don't believe it had any change (unless that was what caused the black screens).

Once while accidently opening an old save file (button spamming X to get to the New Game option and loading that instead) I saw the PQ2 battle portraits mod was not installed either, so I'm assuming none of the other mods are installed either. I plan to redo aemulus when I have a chance to later today, and to try and do it all manually if I can, but for now is there anything I can do or may be missing? I can try to give more information if needed and I'll get a list of the mods I had in a moment to make sure they don't clash (they shouldn't but...)

Odd update while Manually installing mods, the PQ2 portraits won't transfer over with the other mods, specifically the battle_pack and battle_pack2 folders will just say "files not found" and list all the files inside those folders. Not sure it's related to the rest of the problem but I have plenty of space so it should transfer over fine. Will put on an SD card rather than FTP when I get the chance

I did just now get the chance to test it with installing manually via a bind/data/ folder using CWCheat, it once again started normally and had the opening movie only skippable via start button but black screened at the first cutscene (with mod support cheat on, was about to retry with that cheat off)

I'm not able to transfer it over as I'm at work and have about 10 minutes left on a break and my vita refuses to connect to the public wifi here for FTP but I will save this for tonight and try it

The first one named backupp3p was originally P3P i just changed the name so i can keep it in case the bind folder didn't work, so both routes were "ux0:pspemu/PSP/P3P/"
Forgot if I need a mod/ folder in the bind one, FMV folder was untouched from the cutscenes mod's folder

Yeah, I'd like to also add to that only the PQ2 battle_pack/2 folders weren't merged, every other file seems in tact

I'd also like to add I did have the PQ2 portraits mod working on PPSSPP on my android phone, i still have that mod.cpk that works perfectly fine with some other mods. Just can't get it working on Adrenaline

To get it to work on PPSSPP though I had to put P3P in the PSP/P3P folder but I know that it wouldn't read the game on the vita if I put it in there

I'm also going to re-unpack the game and repack a mod.cpk tonight to see if that helps

So good news I did bring my SD card reader to work! So I tried out both of those versions of tempar and both times it froze with a black screen upon opening the game. It still lets me open tempar and mess with it in the game, and go back to the PSP/adrenaline menu from the game, but it doesn't progress in any way from the black screen

The first time I transferred over the second tempar version you sent it changed to make everything 0b but a second extraction/transfer seems to have kept it in tact

Deleted the tempar files and reused cwcheat and it's doing what it did before

When I have more time I'll check out if the other mods installed properly

Manually moved the PQ2 portraits files, those did not load so I'm going to go ahead and assume none of the mods are loading besides the opening movies

Update:
I have redone the entire process with a fresh iso, redid the xdelta patch and aemulus unpacking etc in the beginner's guide. After going through all of it again and adding it to my vita, I've managed to get the other mods working, but the cutscenes mod doesn't seem to activate (at least not in the opening movies, you can skip them with any button not just start, but i need to check the next cutscene as well) and the custom ppsspp ui native res someone posted is not showing correctly and instead flashing at me so ill probably remove that one for the original icons. Going to also try bind again if the cutscenes aren't working
