Hey, I'm currently trying to figure out an issue I'm having with the specified mod. All my other ones I wanted to use have worked perfectly fine. I just can't figure out why this one is returning an error though. Not sure if I fucked up somewhere when installing. I'm pretty sure all the dependencies are installing correctly. Redid em a few times, but just no luck in getting it to work.

Oh, this is totally on me, I pushed an update to introduce a metadata system and it didn't work. Let me quickly boot up my computer and I'll push the fix

@clear trout I updated it, you're still going to get some error messages because my ryo configs don't seem to behaving properly but the game launches and loads the music again

@pastel spire finally got around to trying it out. got the main mod installed and the api - as well as the bgme framework. music remains the same tho

The API should go before the MP3 player iirc

ugh idk what it might be. i'm putting it like your load order and it still isn't working. 😵‍💫 not in battle or exploring - nothing. one of the mods i'm using might be messing with it or my load order just isn't set up right in general

tried disabling everything to see if maybe if it was conflicting, no such luck still. i'm gonna try on a fresh install of reload with the mod alone. see if it works then

Hold on, if you open the MP3 player's mod is there a BGME folder?

Hmm... unfortunately I'm not quite sure what is going on then. I usually start with a fresh install when debugging and it's working on my end, so it should be working.

Yeah I'm not rlly sure. Something on my end. I'll uninstall the entire game and reload and try again. If it's not working by that point, not much else I can do there. Ty for the help tho!

did a fresh install for everything. started a new game even to see if that might help. is there like a specific point when the music actually starts - or should it be just straight off the riff? like, what's the earliest point you can hear it at?

You should be able to hear changes as early as the main menu
