you'll get shafted only if your personas are really really bad, but it's still quite easy, fuuka runs out of SP after 2 scans but there's a trick to it
||They will never have the same affinity twice in a row. Empress will always cycle between Slash and Pierce, Emperor will always choose Fire, Elec, or Light+Dark as weakness. So if Fuuka is out of SP, you can guess almost immediately based off of that||

So it's a separate condition from being buffed
