Imported model textures appear low res/incorrect
interesting
resizing to 512x512 fixes the problem???????????????????
but the textures are natively 1024x1024
that's kinda annoying honestly
time to figure out why that is
ok new problem
i want to just import the dds files via the external loading method, but none of them are being applied / loaded
even when the file name matches
ok so i wrote a script to instead change the dds texture names
but none are being imported still

@humble girder is there an easy way to tell via the console log if a texture is being loaded / applied?
yeah i got no idea why textures aren't being applied / loaded
i'm at a complete loss
everything should be working it's just not doing what it's supposed to do
if anyone has any idea please let me know
all my dds textures in the dummy folder for external loading
all my persona models in this folder are being loaded as they do not have my new textures applied
you know what i just realized
doesn't the game not load specific dds versions 
batch converted textures to bc7, same thing, not loading
ok had wxnder convert a few textures
still not loading
got it to import the texture by changing the texture reference in the model data from .dds.tm2 to just .tm2

it was broken and i fixed it not importing any texutre
it still doesn't import the new texture at all

so i still need to batch hex edit the model files and change their texture references
or they're not loading because of the format

they can just be called .dds and not .dds.dds and they load
