This is an idea I had while talking to friend about Multiplayer Persona. Could you try adding wild cards to the other members in P3, P4 and P5? I'm mostly interested if it's possible, If it is, you can go ahead and make it, if not then I got my answer atleast

I don't see this happening. Not with their own unique rosters of personas, per character

#

Would be a nightmare

you mean other party members using any persona?

A couple people have done this as proof of concepts for p5 but nothing came of it, and iirc it wasnt fully possible without a whole lot of work

#

And with pc p5r having a hell of a lot of inlining I dont see it happening (same goes with p4g and p3p)

Even if its possible, I think it kinda too much to adding wild card to all party member, would be so broken, maybe can switching their tier personas would be more nice, like party member can still use their old persona after evolved them.

Which sadly is not gonna be viable

In P3, the tier 1 Personas learn limited skillsets

#

In P4 and 5, the inly differences between Tier 1 and 2 are resistances

HTC did it with cheat engine and hot keys

#

Which, technically works but its not really "wild card" given no progression or anything unless its manual

I think Zolika did that although it was very janky.
In P5R I'm pretty sure there was space for additional Personas for each party member so in a way it's the most viable one to add this. However, because of inlining it'd basically be impossible to actually do.

Inlining means that instead of there being one function for getting a Persona's information which you could patch, you would have to patch every single bit of code that accesses a Persona's information (probably thousands of them) which is just unrealistic for someone to do

From what I've seen P3P and P4G don't inline stuff generally so they'd be more possible although I'm also fairly sure there's no space to store extra Persona information for the party members.
It could probably be worked around but it definitely would still be a big task to do properly
