#P4G Using any mod in Reloaded II increases load times drastically

I have P4G on steam. Launching it vanilla the game's load screens are more or less instant. Using Reloaded II load screens take upwards of 10 seconds a piece.

The only mods I have installed at the moment are the classroom and social link cheatsheets. I did try with just another single mod (No TV Static) just to confirm my theory.

I've tried moving the game to my SSD, then even tried loading the entire game (and Reloaded II) into a RAM disk. I've set the default framework mod's log levels to debug and its constantly complaining about [FileAccessServer] Can't get final file name., but that is the only notable log output it gives.

I've spent the last few hours googling and it mostly leads to people fighting on the Steam forums, so that was no help.

Any help would be really appreciated. Trying to do combat is absolute misery staring at a black screen for 10 seconds after every fight, or watching the tv logo spin for 10 seconds for every room transition.

No. I loaded the entire game's directory into RAM to see if it'd load faster.

I have a ryzen 5600 6800xt and 32 gig ram i didnt notice a difference

Did reloaded 2 have any errors?

Its log doesn't show any errors. Just a lot of [FileAccessServer] Can't get final file name. if I set the log level to debug.

I send u a copy of my log file and mod list after work. Im currently at work atm.

I've tried the social link cheatsheet, classroom cheatsheet, and no tv static. All individually exhibit the same slow loading behavior.

So it seems to be any mod that replaces files I guess.

yeah that definitely looks fine, if mods are working (they seem to be) have you tried just doing a pc reboot

If you have and it didn't fix I'd make a github issue

I have all those mods active i dont have any slow down

Vanilla and modded still plays around the same but not anywhere near as bad as @fallow spindle

Came back from rebooting. Still slow as death with mods enabled.

Are r2 and p4g installed on ur ssd? Also how did u install them on the ram? Didnt know that u could

They are both on an SSD, yes. The RAM thing I used a program called ImDisk. It was just a test to see if I was getting really low read speed. Can't get a faster baseline than the game itself already being in RAM.

As a drastic step even reinstalling Windows doesn't solve the load time issue. Is there a way to just shove the mods into the cpk without the game pitching a tantrum?
