Hi, I was trying to use a patch for tge's mod compendium, and i believe i used the correct directories, but the patch i made doesnt show up in the mod list. I was following this guide: https://shrinefox.com/guides/2020/04/10/modding-using-hostfs-on-pcsx2-p3-p4-smt3/, and i kind of got lost on steps 1 and 5. does anybody know what i did wrong? thank you for any suggestions or help!

If the problem only occurs with mods enabled (double-check this!), then it's likely caused by a bug in one of the mods you have installed. Try disabling each of your mods one by one, launching the game and testing as you go to narrow down the problem mod. Once identified, report the issue to the author so they can fix it!

because it may not show up if you made an aemulus package

no, im not on hardware, im using pcsx2, also im not using aemulus either

i found out about aemulus way to late, and it seemed like a hassle to port everything to aemulus

you can find most mods on the gamebanana, and aemulus has one-click install
and if there are any mods exclusive to mod comp, a quick drag and drop will convert it to work with aemulus

quick question, when it says output and cheats folder, do i use the ELF folder for output and the PCSX2 cheats folder for cheats?

odd, after setting everything up in aemulus, pcsx2 doesnt work anymore. some warning about plugins.
